Before you take English classes in Durham Region, you need to take an English language test.
This test is offered through an organization called Achēv.
The certified Canadian Language Benchmark assessors will evaluate your English skills to find out your English proficiency level. The assessment is valid for one year from the date of assessment and is accepted in all LINC/ELT/ESL programs in Ontario.

Test results
The Centre will assess your language level. It will then refer you to the best class for you. Your test results are good for one year.
